Positioned over the hill out of sight of the original homestead and winery these vineyards were initially referred to as the Seldom Seen vineyards.

Established as one of the first commercial vineyards in the Region (circa 1858) Elliot Rocke vines have the advantage of benefiting from those established before them.

Deep roots penetrating well drained and rich Terroir, bring to the fruit of the vine the complex characteristic that only aged short cropped vines can produce.
